Travel to Monterrey
Monterrey’s major airport is Monterrey International Airport, located in the municipality of Apodaca, Nuevo León. Several official taxi services are available at the airport—a round trip to a hotel or inn in San Pedro Garza García costs around $100 USD ($2000 Mexican pesos). For security reasons, we do not recommend using taxi services outside of the airport terminals.
Parking & Transportation in Monterrey
Parking on Campus
Parking is available at UDEM’s ESTOA building. It is about a 2-3 minute walk to the Rector’s Office building, where the GDHS will take place.
Event parking is $100 MXN / ~$6 USD per day, or $35 MXN / ~$2 USD per hour.
Plaza Nativa is also within walking distance of the ESTOA building.
Bus Routes to Campus
Bus routes 110, 120, and 6 pass in front of the campus. However, we strongly recommend using Uber for transportation.

Hotels
Novotel Valle is our most recommended option. Group rates will be available for the Symposium, estimated at $115-150 USD per night during 15-26 April. Buffet breakfast is included.
Sleep Inn San Pedro is also close to UDEM. Rate per night: $95-160 USD
